My first batch of Limoncello
I finally finished my long awaited batch of Limoncello. It is absolutely glorious. It's springy, clean, lemony and delicioso. I posted the recipe and my thoughts on my new blog: Icing Heals a Multitude of Sins
The pic you see is me, sittin' on my porch enjoying a simple mix of freshly squeezed orange juice, a few dashes of lemon juice and the Limoncello. I initially made the Limoncello for my dad as his birthday present... but I've already drank the better part of 1 of the 2 bottles. I guess I better start a new batch!
I've started a berry/vanilla infusion too... it smells wonderful. I'll post pics of it when it finishes. My laundry room cabinets are filled with glass jars filled with vodka of various colors with ingredients floating in them. It looks much like a laboratory!
